About Zhongda Oil Refinery

A New Chapter in Energy Refining

The Zhongda Oil Refinery, owned by China Petrol Company Zhongda LLC, is a key industrial facility in Kara-Balta, Kyrgyzstan. After a period of shutdown, operations resumed in August 2024 following significant repairs and modernization efforts. We are committed to transparency and continuous improvement.

With an annual raw material capacity of 800,000 tons, we are currently undergoing further modernization, expected to complete by December 2025 with a $450 million investment, aiming to meet a significant portion of Kyrgyzstan's domestic fuel needs.

Zhongda Oil Refinery aims to process 800-850 thousand tons of crude oil annually to produce gasoline grades AI-85, AI-92, AI-97, diesel fuel, fuel oil, and engine oils, potentially meeting 50-70% of Kyrgyzstan's domestic fuel and lubricant needs.
